The Quality Improvement Primary Care team are happy to announce the return of QI Essentials online Quality Improvement Training.

Attendees will learn about the stages of quality planning and quality improvement, as well as key QI tools. Attendees will have the chance to work through examples and to talk to their peers about how these tools can be used in practice.

Across the course, attendees will learn about:

  • The model for improvement,

  • Aim statements and different frameworks to write these,

  • Stakeholder experience and its importance,

  • Process maps, how to build them and some uses for them

  • Fishbone diagrams, how to build them and use them for improvement,

  • Pareto charts, how to build them and use them in improvement,

  • Data over time and its importance for improvement,

  • Family of measures,

  • Driver diagrams and how to build them,

  • Change ideas,

  • PDSA cycles and

  • Scale up and spread definitions.
