QI Primary Care Training
Primary Care QI training
Participants learn about core QI methods, theories and frameworks over four 90 minute sessions. Across the sessions, participants learn through presentations and examples, without a requirement to participate in a project.
QI Essential sessions are particularly useful for people who want to learn about many core elements of QI and want to participate in QI within their workplace.
These are one-off, 30 minute, stand alone education sessions. These sessions focus on a single element of quality improvement, providing details and examples of how this element fits into the QI landscape.
QI Spotlight sessions are particularly useful for people who want to focus on one part of QI. These sessions work well as an introduction or as a refresher.
Non-Primary Care QI training
Participants learn about core QI methods, theories and frameworks over five four-hour sessions. Across these sessions, participants apply their learning to a QI project of their choice. Participants have access to a coach who supports the participant in their project.
Two streams are available;
Quality Improvement course where attendees learn core methods, theories and frameworks to complete and lead a QI project.
Planning for Quality where attendees learn core methods theories and frameworks to lead a QI programme in their area.
The Quality Academy courses are particularly useful for people who learn by doing and who have an idea for a QI project in their workplace.
